Oscar came to us along with his best friends Lucy & Trooper after being seized by animal control. 

He has quite an impressive blood line coming from Hancock and Blue Valentine Blood Line! Oscar is doing great under saddle and a very solid horse for a confident beginner or intermediate rider. He has clearly had a lot of training and done a lot of riding, he knows his job and he understands the riders cues and is very well behaved under saddle. 

He has been undergoing consistent training with our trainer and picks things up very quickly. He is easily caught and haltered and very well-mannered on the lead rope!

Recommended Rider:   Oscar obviously has a lot of experience, and would be suited to a confident beginner rider with a soft hand and calmness in handling him! He will be an amazing partner for someone willing to work together as a team! 

Adoption Requirements:  Currently recommended for a confident beginner rider. 

Ailments/Limitations:  NONE, he does have scarring on his front left from a possible old injury but it does not seem to be limiting him at all. Oscar has no known medical issues or limitations and is up to date on all veterinary, dental, and farrier work. With continued love, training and proper care, he will make a wonderful addition to a loving forever home.
