Crouton came to us along with his best friend Snowcone after being dumped at auction by a dude string ranch in Colorado! He has clearly had a lot of training and been ridden a lot and known as the leader who has more Go than Woah. He has very high energy but definitely knows his job and he understands ground work and how to behave well under saddle!
He is a good boy and loves getting himself into mischief almost as much as he loves affection! Both Crouton and his best buddy Snowcone are extremely well behaved and would be very safe horses to have around any kids or younger children. Both are very easy to catch and always walk right up to us to get attention and love every minute of it!
He is great under saddle and loves going out in trail rides and seems to be fine alone although they would obviously prefer to be with his buddy!
Recommended Rider: Crouton clearly has a lot of experience, and will do very well right now with a more confident beginner to intermediate rider.
Adoption Requirements: Currently recommended for a more advanced beginner -intermediate rider.
He must be adopted with his best buddy Snowcone. Both are currently undergoing training and continuing to improve in leaps and bounds! Our horses are usually trauma bonded, which is the case with these two, so we would like to keep them together as a pair.
Ailments/Limitations: Crouton is rock solid with zero lameness and no known medical issues ! He is up to date on all veterinary, dental, and farrier work. With lots of love and proper care, he will make a wonderful addition to a loving forever home.
Crouton is now available for adoption to the right forever home.
