Snowcone came to us along with his best friend Crouton after being dumped at auction by a dude string ranch in Colorado! He has clearly had a lot of training and been ridden a lot and known as the leader who has more go than woah. He knows his job and he understands ground work and how to behave well under saddle! He can have some anxiety being away from Crouton, but is doing better every week! He is a big baby when it comes to affection and absolutely loves to be loved on and patted along with his buddy who also loves this attention. these two are really beautiful horses very well behaved and would be very safe horses to have around any kids or younger children. Both of them are very easy to catch and always walk right up to us to get attention and love every minute of it!
He is great under saddle and loves going out o. trail rides.
Recommended Rider: Snowcone has a lot of experience, and will do very well right now with an intermediate rider.
Adoption Requirements: Currently recommended for a more beginner -intermediate rider.
Snowcone must be adopted with his best buddy Crouton (a 5 yr old 15 hand divine ,strong and powerful Gelding also broke to ride by beginner – intermediate rider! Both are currently undergoing training and continuing to improve in leaps and bounds! Our horses are usually trauma bonded , which is the case with these two, so we would like to keep them together as a pair.
Ailments/Limitations: He has some rear end stiffness and we learned he does not like hilly terrain he needs flat surfaces. We also recommend until further veterinary assessment that he only does walk trot with a rider weight of under £150 to make sure that he is not over exerted!
Snowcone has no known medical issues and is up to date on all veterinary, dental, and farrier work. With lots of love and proper care, he will make a wonderful addition to a loving forever home.
Snowcone is now available for adoption to the right forever home.
