Every year, more than 100,000 horses in the United States are sent to Mexico and Canada to be slaughter for human consumption. 

This isn’t euthanasia. It’s far from a humane process.

The horses who are shipped out are commonly traveling for more than 24 hours at a time without food, water, or rest. And when they’re killed, it’s rarely quick and painless. Sometimes they’re still conscious when they’re being dismembered.

Until a law is created to protect horses from auctions, neglect and inhumane conditions, the only thing we can do to save their lives is to rescue them directly from auction.

We’ve made it our life’s mission to protect horses from inhumane killing. We believe every horse deserves the chance to lead a productive and happy life with loving families.
