Penny is a 20 year old paint mare that is 15.2 hh. Penny came to us with severe trust issues with any human contact. Since she has been with us, she has made incredible progress.  We started with months of ground work/round pen work with her to try and gain a relationship.  When she came to us she was defensive at times because of fear/trauma, but also had moments of relaxation. She is now doing incredible, is being ridden under saddle and is coming along in leaps and bounds.  She loves jumping, but due to her age is no longer suited to that, but would be a great light trail or show horse.  She does well with other horses but likes to try and assert her authority at times.  She would need a confident leader who will take their time in gaining trust with her.  Up to date on Teeth float, Farrier, Vaccines & Worming.

Suggested Rider:   Intermediate / Confident Beginner who is patient and willing to work with her insecurities.
